I read this book after I saw the movie. I was thrilled to read this part of WWII history that, and if not… probably not so much, thanks to Robert Edsel. If you are an avid fan of WWII historical topics you will probably enjoy this movie, and it takes a couple of years. The timing for directing is usually because it takes about that long to develop a pie.
